some, yes, they are pretty much staples every 5 to 7 shows (2001, boogie on, loving cup, etc..). Others are pretty rare, once or twice a year/tour (funky bitch, my soul, a couple bluegrass covers, etc..).

but this one, I doubt will ever be played again. During Harpua, they usually bust out a new cover every time, and never play it again.

i just don't understand what the big deal is. Never been a Phish fan, but to each his own.

I've never cared for Phish whatsoever, so maybe I'm just not getting it, but it was pretty crap... the guitarist and drummer screw it up especially badly, though I'm guessing that's the charm about it for Phish fans? Still, as covers go, you can't honestly say that was any good.

it's not really a good, serious cover, it's more of a joke (which they do play all the time on their fans), so you can't expect it to sound like rage. It would be like PJ trying to pull off a 15+ minute tweezer, it's just not going to sound good. And with all their covers, they put a phish twist into them. If you want to hear a good, serious cover, check out any of the one's I've mentioned above that they play frequently, or check out them covering either the white album, dark side of the moon, remain in the light, exile on main st, etc...
