i was at philly 2,3,4....acl, boston, newark, msg 1 and 2. the rankings go as follows.
1.msg 2 (new lukin, hungerstrike, kotj, among many other moments, amazing crowd!)
2.philly 4 (well over 3hrs, BUGS, whip it, out of my mind, THE rarity show! sorry beantown)
3.acl (was in the second row, mountain song, eddie surfing the mud....face first)
4.boston (sorry beantown, philly 4 got you beat w the rarities, but still amazing)
5.philly 3 (great setlist, but some shows gotta be here)
6.newark (listen to this shop people, not the red headed bastard child it's made out to be)
7.philly 2 (to be honest i don't remember much, but that it was better than.........
8.msg1 (ooooofff, didn't need another you are in the encore, really overrated folks)

but keep in mind folks, im an idiot who doesnt know what he's talking about!! and im throwing it out there right now.....best concerts ever? atlanta 1994 and msg2 1998! PEACE!

Of the three I have been to the order would be:

Belfast
London O2
Dublin

Belfast and London O2 were pretty close. Belfast was just the most amazing experience - fantastic set list (including Jeremy and Leash back to back!!) - mad but friendly totally up for it crowd- the Happy Birthday Brendan moment - so many very very special memories that will last a lifetime

Of the three I saw I'd put them in this order:

1. Belfast
Band and crowd in seriously top form. Tremor Christ was a highlight for me, finally got to hear one of my favourite tracks. They absolutely nailed Jeremy. Much as I get a bit jealous of the variety of some of the US sets, I think the mix of 'hits' and lesser known tracks was perfect to keep the atmosphere bubbling - Given To Fly into Black into RVM to end the main set was just stunning. Even Mike f*cking up in Alive was great! Eddie thanked the crowd for "bringing your 'A' game" - well we were only returning the favour.

2. Manchester
I wasn't in London which seems to be generally agreed to be the best of the '09 Euro shows but I loved this gig. Was pretty chaotic up the front but all good-natured, where I was at least. Not For You (Modern Girl) was class, as was a barnstorming RVM. Also had the best close to a gig I've ever seen with a gorgeous Indifference, would love to see them end a gig with this again.

3. Dublin
Had a great time at this but I'd have to put it 3rd here. I had been in the 02 for Neil Young and thought it was excellent for getting a good view, but for PJ I felt the distance between the standing and seating areas stopped the atmosphere from really cranking up the way it has done for all the other PJ gigs I've been to. The band were still great though, especially loved the run of Unthought Known->Nothingman->Lukin->Not For You->Down. First time hearing Porch for ages too, and the Joe Strummer cover was great. New song was interesting, nice to see them doing that kind of thing.

out of those three, I'd have to rank them:

1. MSG1
2. LA3

But damn, those Philly shows looked amazing. LA3 would be tops for me, with Chris Cornell showing up for Hunger Strike, but MSG 1 was a perfect setlist for me and my wife on our anniversary, so it gets my sentimental vote, especially since they played LROM...

Another vote for Buffalo for me. FATAL!!! No Way was awesome!!! Crowd was amazing.

Belfast was amazing for me, my favourite song Sometimes as opener, my second favourite Present Tense on the list too then add Tremor Christ, No Way, RVM, Animal, Low Light, storming Jeremy too... The standards, Betterman, Alive, Yellow Ledbetter, Even Flow and DTE were all highlights in this great show where me and Mrs. Veddertown had a great view above the stage on MM's side. Had an amazing time in Dublin for two great days and same in London but apparently the show to be at had to be Berlin and it definately lived up to it's expectations on most fronts. Long Road was very well placed as opener and set the tone for an emotional show. Hearing Push Me Pull Me, In Hiding, Immortality, Low Light again (so much better outdoors) and Light Years were all a real priviledge and the encores were great. I'm such a huge fan of The End and Just Breathe after seeing them live and the whole Black/speech/Comeback segment was amazing and you really had to be there to feel it I guess. The only letdown though very slight was the exclusion of LBC. Truly amazing experience but remarkably topped by Belfast which was one of the least talked about shows prior to the tour? Just goes to show you eh!

Take a listen to Brisbane - you will not hear the band more "on" than this. Plus the setlist had so many lesser played favourites (In My Tree, In Hiding, Off He Goes, Rats) and...

Melbourne and Christchurch were pretty damn solid too...
