I just don't see Ed as a car guy...

I saw in the latest pics he was wearing a Mooneyes shirt. Maybe he just dug it, because I've just never imagined he'd be someone interested in hot rods or cars in general, of course I could be totally wrong. It's not a big deal, I was just pleasantly surprised when I saw it.

    Yea I don't think he is. Stone definitely isn't either. There's a video of him driving some ugly hybrid. I did read somewhere that Matt had a "big v8 sports car" though.

    I thought that that big ugly hybrid was an plug in electric.

    With a back catalogue that features "Ty Cobb" and "Beyond The Wheel"... he suits a beast of a car to blare those beasts of songs in!

    Dont know if he still has it or not, but he use to have a pretty late 70"s Nova that was kind of a hot rod. At least by my standards it was. Jacked up in the back sporting some big thich 50 series tires. He either drove it to BH or The Showbox..Dont remember which.

    I always thought he had a thing for Camaros??? Something made me think he owned a 60-something red one and of course, "I wish I was the full moon shining off a camaro's hood."

    Yea my bad, it is an electric car. It's still hideous looking though. But then again I'm a car guy. I'm not one to drive some shitty suv or some gas guzzling monster, but Im sure a hell not gonna drive a hybrid or electric.

    And yea if anyone in the band is a car guy, it's Matt. I just hope that v8 sports car is the new M3 ;)

    I can see him liking old hot rods, who doesn't? If I had money I would have a fleet of different colors all for different moods, just tool around. It's respecting that which is old, bygone days. 60's Sport Fury on the list :D

    No, I'm not 100% sure what the car is in SVT, but it almost looks like a Volkswagen Carmengia. I doubt it is. It's definitely not a Camaro. I'm just now in the process of restoring my '67 Camaro that I've had since I was 15. I've always had an affinity for older cars, and hot rods, so that's why the shirt caught my eye.

    He's written a few songs related to cars including MFC, Go, Rearview Mirror, Gone, and loves all of Springsteen's car songs, so it doesnt really suprise me.

    y'all read into this way too much. It's a shirt. Are you obsessed with the design on every shirt you own? Do you never just grab one out of the drawer, or do you strategically plan your outfit everyday?

    i understand what your saying, but yes actually i do plan, they each say and mean something different, even the different color mickey shirts, the color says it all, the blue one, the green one or the classic white one. besides some make me look less fat than others.

    it was matte black. other than the custom paintwork, his Audi wasn't modified. as for BMW, Mike was driving his 5-series to and from the Key Arena.
