    I admit I didn't watch your link, but I've read enough and watched enough previously that IMO the gov't is in BP's pocket. I saw a piece last week on how intertwined BP is in our economy. I got the impression it was comparable to the bank fiasco "too big to fail." So the feds want to protect them, but at the same time BP and the oil industry through lobbyists control them. Without BP and oil industry support they would not get re-elected.
