So I'm Going to 6 shows in '08...

i just want to know, i've never bought a poster, never have even tried to. but i've decided i want at least one from this tour. i just have a couple of questions, and i appologize for my noviceness...

how much can i expect to spend?
can i realistically expect to even get one?
should i be inside the venue the second it opens to do so?
will the place they sell them at be easily located?

fairly simple questions... i figure 6 shows and all i want is at least 1, that should be easily attainable, right?

    Posters were $25 in 2006. I have a feeling they might be a bit more from now on, but I may be wrong.

    If you want one, definitely line up a bit early and run to a merch stand as soon as the doors open.

    You shouldn't have any trouble if you are determined.

    Posters may be a little more expensive this tour, cost of everythign else has gone up, would not be surprised if they are $30.

    but in all seriousness, you s hould be alright....the msg shows might get a little ugly....even before doors open.

    also some vendors will be willing to sell you a poster before the doors ev en open. i remember this happening in montreal 05.

    if you offer to grease them an extra 5 or 10, youll be golden

    I'm going to 2 shows.... did 29 in 06...

    Congrats on going to 6 shows, and enjoy all 6 versions of YLB for me.

    I recommend pissing during Crazy Mary and Betterman, you will also see them at LEAST 6 times!

    If you are fed up with Crazy Mary, RVM, RITFW, YLB, Baba, Betterman, or any of the other songs that are played every night, feel free to run out of the arena at MSG and find Patrickredeyes and myself at a table, where we will be enjoying AND sharing chips and dip with our fellow PJ fans at MSG.
    Also, if you feel up to it, sneak in some chips and dip, the more the better.

    i am so sick and tired of negativity and cynicism around here.

    know what i have to say about seeing certain songs 6 times? GOOD.

    Once you buy 1 there is no turning back. I suggest waiting until your last show that way you won't end up with 6 posters. Just a warning.

    you know what I say about seeing the same songs every single night?
    I'll never see Tom Petty play with Pearl Jam more than one night in a row... I don't mind betterman, even flow, even crazy mary, I just hate a show ending the same way every time...

    51 out of 81 ended in YL in 2006.

    You need to attend those 30 shows that did not have YL.
