Is it just me or is the board 'clock' all over the place?

(Should I be posting this in the 'news and current events' zone??)

RIght now it is 11.10 am (ish) British Summer Time (GMT+1), 3rd July 2010 for me.

[EDIT: no it's largely me - all seems in order now!!]

Sometimes there definitely seem to be 'anomalies' tho

Help!!

 :?

The clock is an hour behind on my screen - I thought it was just because it didn't change when we went on to British summer time. :D

Yeah I think there is a setting at the bottom of your 'board preferences' 'global settings' section

(If you press enough of the different buttons you will end up there eventually)

Setting buttons need to be rationalised.

I think there is another time date setting elsewhere too.

The real gripe tho while we're on the subject is having to go elsewhere to change your sig etc, blah blah blah

(Fewer buttons / tabs / simpler settings please geeks)

On the clock issue though it seems variable and inconsistent (could be me!!) Time & date seem to have a life of their own sometimes!!

Also quite a few 'lags' in different parts of the site.

i think this should fix your board clock probs :

    - select your time zone
    - then be sure to select "yes" on : Summer Time/DST is in effect: Yes No

this seemed to work for me, the times on peoples posts confused me a bit before too ;)
