MTV or VH1

Considering neither channels play music anymore, which one do you like more?

I have to go with MTV. VH1 has some of the lamest reality shows. It's hysterical how stupid some of their shows are. MTV may be trashy but their shows atleast pull you in whether it's because you hate it or love it.

    Dont watch either, neither are in HD in Philly and besides The Daily Show, I don't watch shit that is not in HD. Oh, I watch the Yankees in non-hd every night but that is because I have no choice and comcast sucks balls.

    I did watch aboput 15 minutes of the real world new orleans the other day. After that i punched my self in the face 42 times straight.

    I have to admit I watch the real world. Yes that fucking kid on the show is a dumbass, bur I dunno there's something about MTV shows that pull me in.

    I loved the real world back in the day...loved it. wanted to be on it in the worst way. now i look at those fuckers and think they are the biggest tools in the world. Which guy are you talking about? The meat head with a pill problem, the black flaming dude or the hipster jerkoff? Those three are what made me puch myself in the face.

    haha, I watched the first season of laguna beach, but that is only because I wanted to rail the one chick. If i wasn't drunk, i would not admit this.

    VH1, especially VH1 classic. They play some good shit.

    Palladia is the HD MTV/VH-1 hybrid that plays good stuff now.

    MTV (music television) used to be music. Good music. Rock music
    VH1 (video hits one) used to be light-rock. Some good. Lots of ok.

    ...now neither of them are what they used to be. Just crap 98% of the day.

    MTV is shit. I don't know if they show anything with music on it.
    VH1 will still show something to do with music. I like their countdowns they have; "The 100..." I also like their "I Love (the decades)" they do.
    There's nothing like VH1 Classic and Paladilla. Those are awesome.

    I am in Philly now. Don't get NY channels here, Direct TV offers it and I was planning on changing this year but it was a big pain in the ass.

    I am in Philly now. Don't get NY channels here, Direct TV offers it and I was planning on changing this year but it was a big pain in the ass.

    They still have music-related programming and play music videos. The closest you can get to a music channel.

    Yep. I think it might be an HD-only channel. If you have HD, you'll have that channel.
