What The Band Think About Ed Go Solo

Generally idea changes when a member of a band go solo , and many times it is the end , do they have any kind of problem or not at all .

    i never thought i'd see the day of Ed solo,
    but i think it has reached the point where Ed officialy enjoys playing live more times a year than other members of the band (cough, stone, cough. lol) ...

    I just think its something Ed needs to do for Ed.
    Not because there is ANY problem with Pearl Jam,
    just that Ed has a PROBLEM ... he is addicted to performing!

    So why didn't the band end when Stone did a solo album??

    Looking into it WAY to much my friend.

    Hasn't every single member of Pearl Jam besides Ed until this point had, in some cases, multiple side projects and releases? Yes they have... dont worry Pearl Jam will still go down as the greatest rock band of all time ;)

    Yep, they have all had side projects. It's a healthy and good thing for bands to do things outside the band. :)

    They like to refer to this fact when talking about their longevity... with the festivals Pearl Jam has played and will be playing; I think they are moving forward with the Pearl Jam legacy in mind. Which means more shows and more albums :D
