Ah, love that song too! Don't hear it often enough. I guess I must play it now. Thanks!
"I'd rather be with an animal." "Those that can be trusted can change their mind." "The in between is mine." "If I don't lose control, explore and not explode, a preternatural other plane with the power to maintain." "Yeh this is living." "Life is what you make it."
  • i love tremor christ!
its so underrated its a great song aswell
  • Great fuckin' song. I remember when I got home from the record store with my CD and cassette copies of Vitalogy, and I spun that little disc. I was blown away when I heard Tremor Christ (I neglected to get the Spin the Black Circle CD prior to Vitalogy). I had been so pumped to hear Not For You after I watched them rock that on SNL, and then my senses were assaulted by those crazy 7th chords and marching drums. Eddie's vocal on this track is as powerful as a kick in the balls from a yak. Jeff's bass line weaves around the drums and guitars like a drunken sasquatch. And when you think it can't get any more intense, Eddie starts screaming the "I'll decide" part. Before I graduated high school, I was one of the managers of our student supply store. The week before graduation, we went nuts writing graffiti all over the walls of the store (the school was being closed permanently), and I wrote "The smallest oceans still get big, big waves" on the ceiling, and "he who forgets will be destined to remember" on the wall. Footnote to that story - they turned the school into loft apartments. Anyway, Tremor Christ is brilliant.

You think the Slayer tour is out, or what?
