Check out these videos of how the police force deals with a student protest in the Puerto Rico Capitol. For the past week the senate has been in sesion working out next years budget and has banned or limited access to all press in an attempt to hide all discusion from the people of Puerto Rico . These student went there to defend the right of the people and the press and to demand that they be admitted inside the public areas. And they got beat down with battons, pepper spray, and gas. Of course none of you will see this reported in the states for the same reason most of you dont know that Puerto Rico is a COLONY which is the most antidemocratic act that exist.

I cannot believe this is happening in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the US and this is how democracy is being displayed? I, however, am not surprised that it's not being covered on the US news. It seems situations like this are happening all over the world and the press and US government are keeping quiet and pretending its not happening. I guess these people truly believe that the government knows more and knows what's best for us, taking away our rights whenever they deem it to be necessary. Wake up people! Stay informed and realize how your freedoms are slowly being taken away from our own US government. I'm sick of the arrogance that our constituents have over us, thinking they are smarter and know what's best for the people of the US and Puerto Rico.

Let's strip the commonwealth status then. Then it will be police brutality under the Puerto Rico flag.

Puerto Rican citizens have voted in the past not to become a state. DO you think that the US is stopping them from becoming a state?
