I've been thinking about getting the Pearl Jam vs Ames and 5x1: pearl jam lance mercer books, but i'd like to hear people's honest opinion about them. Are they worth getting? Thanks.

Yes, they are worth it! :)

If you're an art/poster/Pearl Jam lover, the Pearl Jam vs Ames Book is pretty sweet.
Love looking at sweet & sexy PJ photos from year's back, Mercer got a great eye!

Well worth the investment...Ames sits on my coffee table, and people who are not really 'into' PJ love it..Mercer's as well....

all three "coffee table" books that PJ put out are so worth it. top notch quality. I find myself continually going back to each of them when I need a visual fix. Especially the place/date and 5x5 books. both of them remind you just how rad looking this band is. A lot of iconic stuff. I mean if you never physically saw the band ever and just heard their music that would be awesome enough. But.... to see the pictures of them (especially in these books) is truly the cherry on top!

you can find all 3 cheap on amazon. used but still in excellent condition from 3rd party sellers is the way to go. no offence 10C.

p.s. I emailed a rather well know photographer (hint: it's not Lance) recently regarding another well know band, and we got to talking about Pearl Jam, and he said that PJ is "working on a book. shhhh". so we def can anicipate another great book. personally I'm thinking an anniversary anthology type with a lot of Jeff's shit, amongst other photogs like Danny Clinch, etc..
    can't wait

Love them, I find myself paging through each of them about once every two weeks. Really enjoying the little essays by people influenced and touched by Pearl Jam in the Lance Mercer book.
