Aussie's have been woeful in the first three games. It's not like we're missing a load of players either. Haddin's the only one out injured. C'mon Aussie, Step up!!!
we cant win all the time. we have to allow england to feel like they have a hope every now and again, so we throw a few. otherwise theyll just lose interest.

How was it poo by both sides? Aust scored 290 @5.8 an over. Antything over 5 in a one day match is pretty good, over 6 is outstanding.

I didn't watch the game, so it could well have been boring.
Questions for you, how is Steve Smith going? He is pushing for a test spot. I would give him the nod over Marcus North, or even the new guy who is in the squad to play Pakistan Usman Kwalaja (or something like that) First Muslim to represent Australia.
Who do you think is likely to be in the English team come Ashes time. Is Taylor from Hanson (broad) still your great hope?

the ovals a big scoring ground.. your boys nudged around to get a good score but never put the foot down at all..one 6 and the fours came in dribs and drabs..pointing as ever was on a low score for ages and then you look at the score board and hes some how on 50 then 90's again.. :? how he do that .lol great player ..
clarke missed out on a 100 as he couldnot get to the other end to get the 1 run he needed..shame for him.
hard to tell what smith looked like (first time ive seen him and not that easy in the ground)..but ok
it was just one of those games that never really did anything..slow..

He's a bit of an all rounder but I don't think he is particularly great at either. but handy at both if you get what I mean.
He is a good fielder and his greatest asset is his enthusiasm.
What you said about Punter reminds me of Damien Martyn. HE was notorious at that. Look up at the scoreboard and he would be like 80 odd.
