If you have ANY concern for clean drinking water and a safe enviornment. Call or email your representatives THIS WEEK (TODAY), there is a FIGHT on right now to put a moratorium on the policies of the gas and oil industry, and specifically the "Halliburton Loophole". This process has been devastating the west since 2005, and is now coming here. My friends and family are being approached to lease their land, and worse, threats of claiming land by eminent domain, to run fracking chemicals unregulated through our water supply.

I am extremely concerned for our public health and safety and for the integrity of our clean water and air. As the disaster in the gulf continues to unfold and gas drilling accidents are a staple on the news, this is hardly the time to allow industry profit to trump citizen safety. We urge you to pass the strongest possible moratorium bill now so that the health problems, water contamination issues and air pollution problems can be fully assessed by the public and the legislature. Thank you."

    I saw something on tv about this the other day. I think it was on CNN. Anyway, it is a bad thing and should NOT be allowed.

    Just watched the Documentary called Gas Land by Josh Fox. It was very powerful and moving documentary about the Natural Gas drilling on American soil. The whole time watching this program on HBO I was sad to see these poor American people dealing with huge corporations and their layers. The questions I had was did these family sign off their rights for financial gains or what? Plus, How does Dick Chaney Sleep at night knowing he has fucked over more American people than he has helped being a so called public servant. We need to unite as concerned Americans and take these people to task that are responsible for this reckless attitude towards or environment. I just moved from being aware to being an active American citizen. The BP spill and this natural gas drilling is slowly killing our Earth and it needs to stop NOW.....
    I have questions I need to address in my own life. Like, my truck gets 15 miles per gallon, my home is heated with Natural gas. I don't use tote bags at the grocery store etc.... These are things I need to read, research and change in my life I'm not perfect either. I vow today to try and make everyday I'm alive better for the next generation of people. I vow today to stop being selfish and realize everyone has to work together to make changes for the better. I vow today to not let the all mighty dollar influence me and my quest to better myself and the planet. It only takes ONE person to start a change so consider me ALL IN.....PEACE AND LOVE K.C.
