Check out what I got in the mail the other day from Dave:

If you haven't checked out his new band yet- The Kings Royal, do yourself a favor and check out their myspace page:

I think they sort of sound like a combination of KOL and The Doors.

If you like them, their first album is up over on itunes. He also told me that they should be going back into the studio in the next month or so, then release their album early in 09, and then follow it up with a new tour! They just wrapped up a tour opening up for Candlebox.

Dave's a very cool guy and it just makes me wonder if he hadn't left the group, what could had been...

    Very true :)

I don't care why he left the band, all that I was saying that he's an unbelievable drummer and I just wonder what they would sound like with Dave still on the skins

Krusen is still living good from ten royalties :D

I am not too familiar with Dave and what he did after pj. Nice to see he is still in the music biz and being a happy man!

And off course, Daves departure is none of my business. I was just saying.. Dude was pretty messed up back then..

Probably his best known work after PJ was being the drummer for Candlebox, but as you can see, he's done other stuff too

I really don't know him. I've only talked to him through myspace, but he did promise me that they'll stop through my city on their next tour. :)

Indeed. I hope I'm not the only one that noticed the drumming in ALIVE from the studio. Nobody played that song as good as Dave K. The drumming during the ending solo is awesome, tons of different cymbal hits, nice flams, and the ending rolls around the toms is absolutely amazing.
