The Story of The Brain

The day I bought Backspacer vinyl, I obviously ripped it open to check out the artwork (as my 10C cd hadn't arrived yet, remember that? ). Well, my then-3-year old daughter was absolutely ENTHRALLED with the Tom Tomorrow art, so now she always gets me to "read" it to her. She always asks me "Can you read me the story of the brain?". She's 4 now, and just asked me tonight to do it again.

Just a cute little PJ-ism for ya. It's so cool how they even manage to engage our kids.

So wierd I had a situation similar to this with my three year old daughter tonight who was having a rough time falling asleep so she wanted to listen to "just breathe" to make her happy.

Can't wait for a few more years when I can take her to a show.

My three year old REALLY likes that picture of the brain for some reason. She saw another pic of a brain somewhere and immediately told me she wanted to see the Back Spacer pic again. She likes all of those pics for some reason- there must be some way that Tom drew them that is appealing to the kids.
Appealing to the 3yo, appalling to the wife.

It is weird that all the children spoken about in this thread are apprx the same age.
