PJ @PNC in August?

I know there was a post back in March about PJ playing the PNC bank arts center, then nothing official. Well q 104.3 just announced it again that Pearl Jam will be @ the PNC August 4th!!!!!!!!!! So.... What's the deal Boys? PNC is booked thru the summer but august 4th is an open date on their calender???? Pearl Jam?/Soundgarden Tour anyone????? Hmmmmm. :idea:

    Ok... who's gonna call the venue box office?

    Remember, when you call to sound like you already know it's gonna happen, so ask "When do the tickets for Pearl Jam go on sale?" ...if they know, and you sound like it's common knowledge, then they'll have no reason not to tell you. :D

    Im going to see Arcade Fire/Spoon at MSG that night. Considering I've seen PJ 8 times and Arcade Fire only once, plus the fact that it is a major pain to get to PNC and their sound system is horrendous, this would be only of the very few times when I would voluntarily skip PJ.

    EDIT: actually this would be the first time ever.

    UGH! I can't take another east coast friendly tour leg. Sorry dudes. I'd love, just once, to read rumors along the lines of "PJ playing Xcel Energy Center in July?" or "PJ playing within driving distance of Minneapolis-St. Paul."

    Invariably, I read rumors about potential PJ shows, start looking up expensive plane tickets, hotel rooms, time off work etc. So much work (and so worth it), but it'd be great to just once drive 10 minutes to a show. Heck, even 5 hours away in Alpine Valley is fine. Isn't there a guy here who's praying for an AV show?

    PNC SUCKS! worst venue I've ever been to and I've been there 3 times. crappy sound and ridiculously unnecessary security.

    But I read on another board that Pearl Jam had a hold on August dates and released them due to a conflict with Soundgarden.

    i don't really see this happening. They played there a month ago. They should tour somewhere else like philly or camden :lol:

    Seeing as this is coming within a few days of Soundgarden's appearance at Lolla and that it seems as though they're using the same management and resources as Pearl Jam these days, would it not be a possibility that this is a Soundgarden show?
