My wife and I will be visiting some friends in Chicago and are planning to attend Lollapalooza on Sunday to see Soundgarden, etc. This is extremely wishful thinking, but is there any likelihood that some of the members of PJ could show up to watch and potentially play a few TOTD tunes? :-)

...a guy can dream right?

eh... they only have 2 hours... and they need all that time to play as much SG as possible!

the bigger question is what SG they'll play? i feel like CC is gonna push the "greatest hits" setlist just so he can sell more copies of "a sides"... would be cool to get "drawing flies" (w/ full brass section), "gun", "never the machine forever", "full on kevins mom", "big dumb sex", "kyle petty", "half", etc. etc. etc.

BUT ILL BE HAPPY WITH WHATEVER WE GET!

I can tell you that they probably WON'T be playing an A-Sides setlist. I was at the secret show they played in Seattle, and it was mainly old tracks...Big Dumb Sex, Gun, Hunted Down, Beyond the Wheel etc. I don't think they care about selling more copies of A-Sides at all, in fact, A-Sides isn't even available on iTunes any more. If it's anything like the show I saw in April, it will be epic!

Don't think you'll see any PJ at the show...their version of waiting for the sun should definitely make an appearance...i think it will be mostly hits with a few lesser known tracks.
