what happened to these guys? i love wiretap scars, solid album. saw them in pittsburgh and state college-03.

    I really liked Wiretap scars alot was really into Cut your ribbon, Red Alibi and Cataract. They put out a couple of other records but they were not even close to Wiretap scars

    Love these guys...think each album is better than the one before it. They're currently "on hiatus" and I'm not sure if you'll see them anytime soon.

    Jim has a side band called Sleepercar. Decent alt-country stuff, but nothing mind-blowing. Haven't heard much from them recently, either, so I'm not sure how active he is at the moment.

    Weren't they also in At The Drive in and some went on to Mars Volta?

    Only song i really know is cut your ribbon which i like a lot.

    Yup...Jim, Tony, and Paul went on to Sparta...Cedric and Omar to The Mars Volta. Paul actually jumped over and played guitar with TMV for a little while. There's been talk of an ATDI reunion...would really love to see that happen.
