I really find it hard to describe the mood in the arena that night, especially when this song just started going. The day was crappy, rainy.. but their was a buzz in the air... I could just feel everyone's excitement. Then the beginning of, Of the Girl started to play, and the tone for the night was set.

I always love this song as an opener, the guitar just drives so smoothly. So cool!

I know what you're talking about, as I experienced it also at the Toronto show in '09. I think it was cloudy, but not rainy, but I also felt that buzz in the air, and Of the Girl also set the tone for me. Well, after the opening band didn't show, and we all got treated to pre-sets with Eddie, Mike, Jeff, Stone, the Pharmacists with Eddie, Eddie and Jeff.

Could not agree wtih that any more.., I'm still amazed that so many people can complain about such an amazing night.

I remember being on the total opposite side of the Prudential Center on a beer line, when I looked down at my cell phone and saw it was 8:45- I literally left my friend (who now thinks I'm insane btw) and sprinted all the way back to my seat, opening the curtain right when metamorphasis started playing- thought I was going to fall over when I realized what song I heard next... would never have forgiven myself if I had missed that one!!

TBH it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. I'm glad I heard it but it's definitely a song for smaller venues or acoustic sit down shows like the benaroya and Mansfield versions.
