In the festival shows I'm always more curious how the 'other' audience members react - eg, the man in the street who knows Jeremy Alive & Evolution etc.

Any reports on what the atmos was like? Good reception?

    Ta da Twitter report:
' Pacmancerealbox_normal hiltonyo Just saw Pearl Jam. Superman wears Eddie Vedder pajamas.'

And that is general impression. They came, they conquered. I sensed lots of competition between Glastonbury and Hyde Park, because Pear Jam was getting enormous attention on the internet, at times more than Glastonbury. And Hyde Park is underdog, like for people who couldn't go to Glastonbury.
Well, there is not a bad post about Pearl Jam show, everyone was absolutely happy to be there. On the other hand, I saw few complaints in the other camp. That is for now, I am sure we will read about this for days.

To add, this tread went fast. Thanks to Brisk and in_the_mud for the relay.

Oh, I know that we know.... I was very curious to see what people who don't follow the band think about this gig, which was going against other festival. Happy to see that the boys' stock just went up.
To continue my Twit-stalk, my opinion on Bryan Adams just went up, he posted that he was on the gig, called it great night.

Edited to add that I thought some other poster than Tremor is making fun of me, but I am keeping the post because I have to go. But I want to staaaay.

don't take any notice of me gecko - I enjoy your jokes - I just try and make some fun to keep me from falling into the big black pit!

You know the other singer Ryan Adams? I read once that somebody called out in one of his gigs the usual joke like 'play Summer of 69', so Ryan stopped the show, paid the man his entrance fee and had him thrown out!

Where you from Gecko? I have a feeling you may be a man of impeccable taste and judgement. I just can't place your accent yet.

I had a post, either I posted it at random forum, or didn't submit it.
I am not a man! Does judgmental count? ;) An East European living in New Zealand dreaming of Perth, or something equally warm/beachy. Hence my odd writing and no country in the signature, I'll pick up my tent at first chance. You are from England, right? My new avatar is very pretty, thanks.

To stay somehow on topic, Tim Robbins was apparently there, too. They should just give him tambourine or something, he he just got visual of him as Stevie Nicks.

Yeah I thought afterwards maybe you were female - but that you would declare it! Glad you accepted my gift tho. You and I should stick around - I have a feeling things could get quite amusing. Home is where the heart is!

(I could listen to Stevie Nicks for the entire 1970s I think!)

Hmmm, kind of easy for me to forget what I just said out here - is a bit foolish on my part!

Where does the donkey fit in?? :)
