what are you hoping to do instead?? just wondering

we are printers here in Atlanta
How are you doing? A lot of printers are really struggling over here. I've lost about 6 print suppliers in the last 3 years and a few of those were big 24 hour companies.

We are selling up and moving abroad, hopefully by October. I've no idea what we'll do out there.

I got out of the print n design business about 5 years ago... I just thought that digital and online would render it an out-of-date business... look at it now, newspapers sales have slumped, kindles, etc...

I'm now involved in digital mapping and GIS MapInfo systems for the government here... I miss the hustle n bustle of printing n stuff, but this job is mega secure with it being a statutory role in a governmental environment...

hope things turn out well for you Nuffing.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

That's what I used to do before my accident and now I am looking into changing directions. I just don't know what direction!
I worked in printing & publishing for 15 years, and both industries are nose-diving here.

There's still a lot of print work out there for sure. If one looks around the printed word is everywhere!
Thank goodness thats still the case. We are getting a revamped website.. From what I can tell
I think web design is still doing really well.

Advertising is down and big events but we have been super busy since mid Jan...
we are very small but in general the field is picking up.
I know our freelance graphic artists and print brokers are doing pretty good again.
    Lets hope it continues

Oh and the rappers in Atlanta are way busy and our new movie industry here in GA :D
