I think the perfect PJ song in concert is Why Go....Eddie singing the sh1t out of it...the crowd singing their part...perhaps Stone's best riff ever...Mike's ripping solo...Matt's incredible drumming...and let's not forget Jeff's brilliant bass line...this song live is f'in amazing.

Why Go is actually the first song that hooked its way into my brain from Pearl Jam. Friends gave me a PJ tape way back before they really broke (prior to the Jeremy saturation) and I was amazed. Then I was working and one song kept going through my head during the tedious drudgery. My mistake was that I thought it was, "Why go on?" instead of "Why go home?" The wrong lyric, "Why go on?" would repeat through my head over and over as I made sure deodorants lined up nicely in rows, etc. Hahah

Good story. There are many misheard lyrics to every PJ song which make them so unique. :D

there are two problems with black now.... one is me nitpicking, the second just pisses me off.

nitpicking = stone needs to play this song with an electric guitar. nothing else. i don't know the name of that other guitar he uses, but it sounds too hollow. it's similar to an acoustic to a certain extent.

pisses me off = boom. why the hell does he play during this song????? it sounds AWFUL when he does his little organ solo. i feel like i'm at a freakin' church when i hear it.
