I found this on the VA Beach Verizon Wireless Amphitheater's myspace website...

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=24945120

I wonder if this is the one that will be sold at the show or if it's something that they just made up for the website

Interesting...I am guessing NO though simply because it is the Amphitheater website. Just a guess though.

I wouldn't be surprised....looks like something Klausen might do....although, it seems awful early for the posters to be done
  • looks like a newspaper add...similar to the one brad did for the boston shows in 04

How much $$ are we talking? ;) No way it would be out this early.... I'll bet that does NOT turn out to be the poster.

I was thinking the same thing, but if it was just a website thing, why wouldn't they just put up a picture of the band liek they did for all the other concerts coming to that amp

That poster lists the on sale date for tickets, so I doubt it is the exact poster. I do think we will see that design pop up at some point though.

It wont be the show poster, it will be the show announcement print add for the upcoming on sales...obviously...Klausen

I read about this new potential poster over at expressobeans, and what I quoted was my thought too:

    This Seattle '04 poster ...

    http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/19358

Had its art work used for this Boston '04 ad ...

    http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/19086

Someone over there thought this may be Ponce De Leon ... which, I think it would make more sense for this to be the poster for a Florida show ... but, perhaps the main part of the art is done enough where a print ad could be made form it, even if for Va Beach.

All speculation at this point, but, yeah, I'd be *shocked* is this wasn't Klausen.

not a bad design compared to most BK stuff... but id like to see it more colorful and detailed if it ends up being an official poster

That is the same poster in a local paper in Columbia advertising the show here.
  • is there a law in VA that all concerts must be a rock concert followed by a country concert?

same here in NY. It was a full page ad in the village voice, a local city paper distributed for free. Got the one from Riot Act in 03 too wich had the Skull and Bones like the tee shirt, so I dont think it'll be a poster...maybe, who knows, or it might be a tee or other merch like stickers, etc.
Aah, fuck it, I’m just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin’ TV...
