The communist goals were entered into the Congressional record by Albert Herlong, Jr. (a Floridian who served in Congress from 1949-69).

Just to set the record straight... 'putting it in the Congressional Record' is just that, putting it on record.
A Representative can read the storyline to a 'Ren and Stimpy' episode and it gets on the Congressional record... does it validate it?
    ...
To gain a clearer picture, go to the source.
What is the source of these goals? The book, 'The Naked Communist'.
Who is the author of the book? Cleon Skousen.
Again, i apologise for referencing Wikipedia and will post other references as I find them:

Read Cleon Skousen's other work, 'The Naked Capitalist' and see how it fits in to your beliefs.
    ...
The 45 goals were what Skousen viewed as Communist goals... remember, in the latter 1950's, Rock and Roll Music was considered by some as a Communist Plot to subvert teenagers into rebellion.
