So regarding Pearl Jam Bootleg Downloads...

So I got to thinking today...man I'd really like to have a recording of the new song the boys jammed on in Dublin but to do so I'd need to purchase the whole show. Don't get me wrong that show looked great and well worth purchasing but as I looked at other shows I started remembering other rarities they pulled out this tour as well.
My thought and question is, will Pearl Jam ever offer track per track purchase on bootlegs like as if you were on ITunes?
I could be alone on this one but for my purposes I collect all the shows I've seen and all the ones that have been deemed sacred or exteremly essential. I think it would be nice to buy a track here and there. I also have lost a live tracks from shows from time to time while switching computers and played like hell trying to track it down on my backup discs.
This is just a thought and didn't know if anyone felt the same or thought it would be nice.

Afterall, if they did offer this, who in their right mind would ever purchase any version of Even Flow?
You may have opened a can on that one.

Holy shit, I didn't know that...fuck right, maybe it will be sooner than later but I would guess not. That's so bad, I never look Pearl Jam up in ITunes because I buy hard copies of everything released and then download the shows from here. Good info!!!

Maybe next tour all Pearl Jam show's will be available for download day's after the show @ iTunes. It would be much easier to use iTunes (for mp3 downloads) then right clicking the file, downloading one huge zip file, extracting the files & those with low bandwidth or unstable bandwidth where you were still downloading the file & something timed out, or download stopped right in the middle of the download (where you lose the connection) now you have to download it all over again.
I thought I remembered picking up a few at Virgin or Tower Records?
That may explain why these are available on iTunes!

Nope. The '06 were first released on Basecamp via mp3 & flac format. No CD.
The '00 were officially released in stores all over the world. The '03 just 7 (I think now) was officially released @ the stores. All '03's were available @ the 10club.
You bought 2006 bootlegs @ Tower Records? Were they silver CD's or burned CDR's?
I'll have to check...
I may have bought them in the "used" section!!!

when we are going to MN for vacation. They actually have about a dozen locations all in NH & Maine, but I have called or emailed them many times with question about obscure or older items that may have existed at one tome or another, and they have always been very helpful even referred me to another store on a couple things I had been searching for.Regarding Youtube/MP3 converter, If you can find good version on youtube and want info on what you need to get setup to do it, just email me back, and I will give you programs I use, it's freeware, so nothinng to lose and much to gain. I have to estimate that I have gotten 30-50 PJ Youtube audio files w/o any video or video to MP3 or actual videos I can play on my Ipod, trust me it is well worth the time & efforrt to learn and use, it is very easy(I am not a real techy person, so I would say most anybody who can come on here and make a post can do it) and tips/info how to do it. I not sure what kind of MP3 player you have, but it has worked for me equally well w/ both my first player a SONY Walkman, and my new Ipod touch. Also if you want to download video and convert it to play on your player(if it has ability to play videos of course, which most do now) I also can give you that info, it is Great for either fan copies and again the old obscure stuff, that you can not get anywhere else.Hope this can help you one way or another, good luck!
