While a lot of us have had our minds on a bunch of footballers in South Africa, American John Isner and France's Nicolas Mahut entered the record books at Wimbledon.

The crowd gave them massive applause at 50-50 in the final set but bad light stopped these 2 guys at 4-6, 6-3, 7-6, 6-7, 59-59. At the finish the BBC team tried to speak to John Isner but he seemed too knackered to talk. Tomorrow they continue.

Hats in the air for these guys.:clap::clap::clap:

I would have just given up, handed the match to other guy and found the bar.

And sets 3 and 4 went to a tie breaker. I'm not sure how that panned out, but it looks like 144 games or so without a consolidated break of serve. Huge.....

Absolutely ridiculous. I watched a big part of it today. I'll be watching the conclusion tomorrow.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I still can't believe this happened. Just unreal to watch. Nothing but class by both players. Truly an honor to watch.
