"FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam0925
Heard it! Hooked. Didn't want it to end & want to hear it again. Good to hear them jamming. They can embelish the hell out of this one. And I loved mixing of styles, it is rocking big time, yet not tied to particular style, or period. I am so happy to hear big song from them again.

The only parts that I don't find absolutely perfect are the lines "of the earth" sung in -Eddie singing The Who- voice. Otherwise this song is making me really happy.
Anybody got the lyrics?
I feel like I just listened to every Pearl Jam album in that 6 minutes
I agree it's a great mix of old and new style Pearl Jam and the middle section is so killer!

I first heard the song on YouTube and didn't think too much of it. It had some stuff I was liking, but I wasn't blown away or anything. Then I heard the soundboard version and it sounds worlds better as a piece of music. With some polish and some refinement on the lyrics, I think I can stand much more firmly behind this direction than the path they chose for most of Backspacer. Please don't let Brendan get ahold of this song and start adding Elevator "Rock" to it.

I wonder if any unreleased sings have the words water or air in the title.
