what do you think?

the fiance would love to but doesnt think it is easy to dance to. we tried a couple weeks ago and the tempo seems just a bit faster for a slow song. her mom really wants us to pick another song but we both love the song and it really reminds us of each other and everything.

do you think this could work? what say you?

I would go with PJ's cover of "Baba O'Riley," but I have friends who used "Just Breathe" as their wedding song. This was all the way back in October, so it was still pretty new.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

It is your wedding! Too fast or too slow, if it means something special and you both love it then go for it. My sister and her husband "slow danced" to a live version of Just Like Heaven by The Cure because they loved it. It was perfect because it was so them. Just enjoy it. Good Luck and have a blast!

My wife and I were married last October and we almost chose that song. We ended up doing a medley with, first half an elvis song and the second half was amongst the waves. It was an honor having a PJ song at our wedding so I say go for Just Breathe, I think it will work out great :)

if i wasn't already married it would have been my wedding song and we actually were introduced at our reception to the opening minute of baba o'riley. :)

It's perfect for a wedding song. Even people that don't like PJ seem to somewhat understand the beauty of this song and enjoy it. When I first heard it I thought "Wow a PJ love song, now I can finally get married", but unfortunately the lady of my dreams did not come along with this song. But at least the song is out of the way, right?

Unfortunately, it's a funeral song for me.
First listened to this song the day of my cousins funeral... he was a young 42 with 7 kids left behind.

I thought maybe a Pearl Jam version of Harvest Moon would be very appropriate?
The Atlantic City show Ed brought up a couple that was just married and they danced on stage.
    Very cool moment.

My first wedding.... like that, my first wedding... we had Smashing Pumpkins 33 played. It was a big hit with our friends... our parents were like WTF? :)

    Good Luck to you!

I am trying to fit some PJ into my wedding next August (2011).

Having a tough time...we decided our first dance is going to be Brett Dennan - Aint Gonna Lose You.

We are going to be announced into the reception with Love Reign O'er Me blaring. Should be awesome. We like the piano build up into EV screaming.

My fiance might dance with her father to Come Back.

I think Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie" would make a nice wedding song.

This is probably going to sound like the worst thing out of a Pearl Jam fanatics mouth but.... I don't really like Just Breathe... I'll go 100 yards further and say this.... I THINK SARAH MACLACLAN'S JUST BREATHE IS BETTER!

    Flame away.

Sorry if you love it. That is perfectly ok. I LOVE 99.5% of everything PJ and Ed do... but for me... Just Breathe falls in that .5%.
