    Well, I joined in the last few months and my member number is close to 457,000. I wonder how many are lapsed though.

    This forum shows over 362,000 usernames registered but I would guess many of those are not really active because if you sort by join date some show up as like 1969 or something and there are many many with garbage names like DM6062.

    The strange dates and the garbage names happened when they changed over from the last incarnation of the board. Some people just never changed them back.
