IMAX movies

taking the kids to see Toy Story 3 tomorrow. My 4 year old has a hard time wit anything loud, so he'll have earphones on. but the earliest showing is at the IMAX theatre...so, is it any louder than a normal movie theatre? How else is it different.....will it mess in any way with a 4 year old and a 2 year old enjoying the movie

    I went to an Imax showing of sharks a couple of years ago. I didn't find it any louder than going to the movie theater really. I'm sure your kids are going to love it!

    I think it's actually quite a bit louder. The HD sound and extra speakers pack a punch.
