I would love to see Eddie and Boom go to town on The Animals "Inside Looking Out." I think they would do a great job with it.

Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys does a great cover of this (they opened for PJ at MSG 1)

    Magic Bus - The Who
Skinned - Blind Melon (perfect as an Ed acoustic first encore)
    Remedy - Black Crowes
Not ready to make nice - Dixie chicks

  • I was at work tonight and a TERRIBLE cover of Rod Stewart's Maggie May came on. I think Pearl Jam could do an awesome job at it.

    Don't make fun.
  • I would love to see them play "Sweet Home Chicago" for when they play in Chicago. Not only would Eddie get a chance to bust out the harmonica, but it is a blues song that would allow for them to interpret it how they wanted to. With Eddie spending so much time in Evanston (just outside of Chicago to the north) growing up it would be a pretty sweet song to hear.

Another song that would be interesting to hear would be "When the Levee Breaks" by Led Zepplin. With the events over the last few years and once again Eddie being able to get out the mouth organ it would be a pretty sweet cover. I am a fan of any song with some good harmonica in it.

Riders on the Storm by the Doors would be a pretty cool cover that would allow Boom to have a sweet sounding part.

Forplay/Longtime by Boston would allow for some musical freedom as well. That would be a cool song to hear open a show.

One last one would be Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones. With the band seemingly going to more and more group type background singing this would be a cool song to do.

I'd love to hear them do a Clash cover, Death or Glory comes to mind. A Jam cover would be good to, preferably Smithers-Jones.
It's nice to be nice to the nice.
