Lunch...

I just had a GREAT bbq bacon cheeseburger at Kildare's for lunch. Only way it could have been better would have been with an ice cold beer, why do employers prohibit that anyway? We should be more like Europe when it comes to alcohol, but that's a whole 'nother thread.

    back in the 90's when my company was making $$$, they didn't care, now, you'll be fired so quick.

    We should also be like Europe in our work schedule...we work too damn much.

    If I ever drank a beer at lunch I wouldn't return to work
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    I had a glass of wine at work once...both of my supervisors did too. All I wanted to do for the rest of the afternoon was sleep - not my most productive day.

    I remember goign to play pool and drink a pitcher at lunch one day....well, that lunch turned into almost 2 hours, 2 pitchers...and I came back to work quite buzzed. Wasn't the funnest day after lunch..

    I used to work for 1of the 2 very large shoe companies in the Northwest ;)

    We could have a bottle of Whiskey at work if we wanted to. My first week there our friday meeting consisted of mixing margaritas :mrgreen:
