Greetings Brothers and Sisters!

My name is Ryan. Some of you know me. I run my own music school in Trappe, PA. EVOLUTION MUSIC STUDIOS, LLC. Whether or not an official 20th anniversary show happens, we are celebrating and doing it up big time! I am organizing a tribute show which will be held at the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, PA. It will be a full-length PJ style concert. We are working on creating the setlist and practicing tunes already.

I am looking for 10clubbers to get involved! This is a call to you! If you would like to be in this show, if you play guitar, drums, bass, sing, or some other eclectic instrument (horns, tabla, sitar, accordian (Bugs!)) WE WANT YOU! Please send a video or audio file of yourself playing, a virtual audition if you will, and if its any good there is a very good chance you will be a part of the show! Send it to <!-- e --><a href="mailto:evolutionmusicstudios@gmail.com">evolutionmusicstudios@gmail.com</a><!-- e -->

This show will be spectacular! FUll pro sound and lighting. Big Classic movie theatre (dickie Betts plays at his venue when he comes here). Awesome musicians.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Contact me asap.

You will be hearing much more about this in the coming weeks and months.

Rock On

well, i must say that NO CODE - the PJ Tribute from NJ will be playing at The Khyber in Philly on 10/09/10 (Friday Night), with a special tribute at Midnight.

They will be performing all of "Ten" at midnight, to align with 10/10/10

But the show starts on 10/9!

    I can't wait buddy!!!!

By the way at Church on Sunday we had a "Come Unity" meeting and they are aboard with having a meeting and helping out any way possible. The one guy is an artist and knows a guy who could print the posters(professionally). He also knows the guy who runs the Lansdale George's Music and thinks he can get us a better deal for us on the lights and sound. I already told you I have the shirt guy.

We definitely have to set up a complete group meeting going over all of this. Also, we are also definitely interested in being a part of your other showcases you have going on. Of course that can be discussed at the meeting also.

I think the guitar playing is the best thing on these demos, then vocals, then drums. Bass is a little rough. SOunds decent though. Listening to Dissident right now. Nice guitar

Thanks! All these tracks were laid down in one day as we ran out of money. THey are unmastered but you get the idea. If anyone wants to build another PJ band, I'd love to jam!!

The PJ band dissipated after about a year. I've been in probably 6 bands since and that one was by far the most talented group of musicians I've played with. Unfortunately, heros and egos got in the way. I'm still good friends with the other guitar player who I shared lead with. Raising Cain is still together but I had to leave the band because I relocated down to the Delaware beaches. I have been jamming with some guys locally but I miss focusing on PJ.... mainly playing classic rock and blues for now.

Are you soliciting musicians to organize one band unit, (with add ons as needed) or will the event be a mixing and matching of all musicians who pass the audition?
  • Hey Friend - Thanks for replying.

Mainly mixing and matching. But if someone has a tight band that is an option too. What do you do?
