the tables of fear have been turned,..
acceptance of the decline enabled,.
the words spoken in a hushed tone,…
the unconscious state flows over me.

the infinite wisdom of the damned,...
haunts my dreams,..
rattles my very being,.
casting shadowy doubt on the future.
