When I saw "Shattered" I could only think of my daughter, Savannah. And my heart. It has been a very long time for me to experience what you write here but with my daughter crying at the end of line last evening, words inaudible, the sound of heartbreak, brings back my days of love lost. I have copied and will share when her pain is less raw. Thank you for your poem, I know we both feel it." Grant me courage" is my prayer for us all.
