I'm not sure, but that sounds right. The new intro that Ed plays solo at the very beginning of Porch.

yeah---just play an A & then do a quick run on the A string of 3-2-0, then back to the A chord. just play around with it & you'll get it.

    might be wrong but

    the a chord 4x
    then
    3rd fret on the a string 4x
pull - off to get the a string open note
    then
the 3rd fret on top string, once

    am i way off?

strum the Am once, then hit the 3rd fret on the low E string, then back to the Am, then do the 3-2-0 climb down on the A string

that's pretty close, but don't pull off when playing the A. just mute the strings so you can get that "insert muted sound here" sound

if you know how to play the intro to porch with a fast intro, it's the same thing just slowed way down... and yes the tabs are right...
you walk down the A string then play the G at the end of the lick
    A 3-3-3-3-2-0-- A 3-3-3-3-2-0--
    Chord
    3 Chord
    3

and so on and so forth...

the chorus and the "ohh" part is the G chord and you go up the neck holding the G position from G to A to A# back to A then G to A to A# to C then back to the intro riff

    that's basically the whole song

EDIT: sorry for the tab being unaligned i can't figure out how to align it right...just click "quote" and then read what i typed...it's aligned correctly on that
