i just can't justify spending $140 per month (2 lines) for cell service.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea...I'm pretty sick of payign monthly for an amount I feel isn't worth it. My girlfriend has the G1 phone, so if she wants to continue payign for it, then go ahead...but I want out. Realistically, I'd love to not have a cell phone...but I just don't want to put up with people bitching about it.

Pre-paid sounds like it's up my alley of cheapness.

I'd like to argue with Jerry Seinfeld on this...cheapness is a sense, and some people have it stronger than others.

I no longer can either. I've had enough of it. I could use that money towards something else that is much more useful (e.g. school supplies, which I am struggling to find cash for.)

I pre-ordered one for my wife today online. We both have the 3g currently, but I'm not sure I'm going to get another iPhone. I may go for the Dell Streak when it comes out.

That's my phone plan as well  . iPhones are cool, but not $100 / month cool.

We used to go that route, but then I talked the company into paying a cell phone stipend rather than providing a phone and so I get money every paycheck to apply toward having a cell phone. The company saved money and I got the freedom to have control over the phone and plan that I have.

Well you can unlock and jailbreak the phone....and this way you can use the phone on another carrier (tmobile) and not have to use a data plan if you dont want to.

Yea it was a bitch to get this phone but I eventually got through. But yea.....just as hard as getting pj tix.

Got my record today......TEN CLUB RULES!
