sound like an audience recording? I am not bitching (yet) just want to know if anyone else has experienced this. Many of the tunes seem to echo, as if the main mic was in the middle of the audience. This is in regards to the CD boot. Has anyone received any of the other hard copies yet? I ordered the whole set and if this recording is an indication of whats to come, I'm a little nervous.

Brett, the band's usual sound mix guy didn't mix the boots. I think he's actually on tour w/ R.E.M. right now. The boots were mixed by Barrett Jones (Nirvana/Foo Fighters). So I'm sure that has something to do w/ the quality so far.

"Severed Hand" from the Tampa show, you cannot hear Mike for the entire song. The solo, Mike is non-existant. It's almost like listening to a rough demo with just the riffs. One would think the people mixing the show would actually do one a once through before releasing this to the public.
