Which 2 songs sound alike...?
Ok, what I actually mean is while listening to a bootleg CD, you hear the first note or two from a song and for a split second, you think it is another song, but it ends up being a different one...
My example: I was listening to one of the boots and they started playing Supersonic...and for just about 4 milliseconds I would have bet that they were getting ready to play Mankind.
Is this just me or has anyone else ever did this as well?

Yeah for a while Not For You was my holy grail and I was twice fooled by Light Years into thinking it was about to be played.
Totally. A good way to distinguish one from the other is that it's not uncommon to hear some feedback during the count-in for Even Flow.

Nevermind this post... I misread "Severed Hand" as "Save You".
Nothing to see here.
the sound was awful but it happened
Then I'll go with "Wishlist" and "Unthought Known."
"Even Flow" is the one with the very long guitar solo.
i think the intro is what was meant
Habit & Brain Of J & Lukin (exact same drum intro on Lukin & Brain Of J)
Soundgarden - 1996-10-15
Pearl Jam - 2000-06-30

This post worked out better than I thought, not only was I not alone in thinking this, but I got lots of different answers too!!!
Thanks to all who replied
thought the same thing at the Newark show.
