Question for Ben Harper fans

I haven't seen Ben live (outside of when he sits in with PJ) since he started touring with the Relentless 7. For anyone who has, does he still play some of his old solo stuff?

On occasion yes. I know of him at least doing "Another Lonely Day", "Serve Your Soul", and "Better Way" with Relentless 7

but wasn't "Serve Your Soul" originally recorded with the Relentless 7 - before they were called that?

I've only seen him once opening for PJ, but he did happen to play "Walk Away" from Welcome To The Cruel World. It was a nice surprise as it happens to be one of my favorite Ben songs.

I saw him back in April. Yes he did play at least 8 older songs that I can think of right off the top of my head.
    Peace, Love.

I saw him with Relentless7 twice in '08 and once in '09, but they were all before the release of White Lies For Dark Times, so I don't know for sure. He played maybe one old song between the 3 shows.

Same here. I think he shyed away from playing older stuff for his first tour with R7..... but I think it's game on now.

I saw R7 in April in baltimore and they played some old stuff, "Burn One Down" & "Amen Omen."
"All I Ever Knew" available now in print and digital formats at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.
