I think Billy is outta good ideas. Ashes Divide was one of the worst albums ever, and the last APC album was nothin special.

While I agree with you on both accounts, it's far too early to make any kind of assumption of what this album will be like.

And besides, seeing A Perfect Circle live twice were some of the best concerts I've ever seen. So if anything at the least, a tour will be worth it.

This is great news no doubt!
    Conversations getting dull
There's a constant ringing in my ears
Sense of humor's void and numb
    And I'm bored to tears.......

The website was updated a little while back but not much has happened since. Hopefully they'll give us a tour with it. They were freaking awesome on the Thirteenth Step tour and surprisingly humourous! :D
Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.

well of course its not... but when it gets to that point when youd love to hear some new TOOL cause its been a while, then yeah news of new APC kinda fits the whole scenario of ahving to wait just that bit more for TOOL. and you know theres no guarantee there will be any new TOOL anyway so..........

...... its just frustrating you know??

It definitely is. It's always been a little frustrating to be a fan of MJK and his outfits, but...he works with great artists and I've learned that the patience pays off immensely.

True! Emotive was a weak record. Passive though was an amazing track. If they go back to Mer de Noms or Thirteenth Step roots, oh mama!!! Have experience Mer de Nom's live, but not Thirteenth Step. To see The Outsider or Noose live??? *goosebumps

I'd say another record on their deal is a pretty good guarantee. Those dudes like their money. Nice to see Maynard's helpin sell tix by saying they might play some new stuff.

Wish they had it like they used to. The thought of another album of mostly rehashes isn't too appealing.

This is awesome! Its funny, just yesterday I was playing some APC and was thinking, GOD, Maynard needs to stop wasting his time with Puscifer and get back with them and Tool!
My favorite Pearl Jam song: "Corporate Greed Boat Asshole Behind a Counter in the Oval Office"

    x1000

Just my opinion: Puscifer is a weak effort compared to what he's done in the past.

    EDIT: 5000th post! 8-)

One song that surprised the hell out of me live was Vanishing. They opened a show or two with that and it was awesome.

Did you write this article?? He mentions the fact that he's seen them twice... Hey! Come to think of it, so have I! Once when they opened for The Mars Volta and once at Lollapalooza. Yeah, they put on one hell of a show.

I heard that Freese was out of the band... Any news on that?

I read somewhere that he did most of the Puscifer stuff (beats n' whatnot) on the tour bus, presumably with APC and TOOL, so there wasn't really much wasted time. I think it's a good outlet for him to express all the crap that would clog the way for bigger and better things...

...and incidentally, I LOVE Puscifer... As far as my girlfriend is concerned, it rates much better than Al Green or Barry White for mood-makin music. :D

No I didn't write the article, but strangely enough the two times I saw them were:

    1. Headlining with opener Mars Volta...
    2. Lollapalooza 2003

 Nice. Apparently, sir, you have good taste. Jesus, '03? Doesn't seem that long ago.. It was hot as hell outside and he said, "You guys look like you're pretty hot out there. Well... [shrug] It's hot." Must have been just before 13th Step came out, and they played The Noose. First time I heard it and, like I said, fucking SPIRITUAL.

Also saw TMV when they opened for System of A Down. Maybe the best show I've ever seen.
