This is something I wrote a few years back, I just wanted to share it today

As time goes by
I realilze I have a
special role to play on this planet
to love
to understand
to be the best me I can be
It is not about what you own
or who you know
It is not even about
great accomplishments
To me, it is about
giving of myself to anyone who needs help
smiling at someone even if they frown back
listening to someone without the need
to give my advice
I have questioned the meaning of life
and what I realized was that
the good ones are here
to help the lost
If we can reach out and help eachother,
imagine the possibilities
If you are having a rough day
I send a smile your day
If your day is going great, hopefully
you will pass it on to a stranger
A quote from two great songs,
"All you need is love"---pass it on

If only I felt this way these days....in time I suppose

Thank you for this beautiful poem. And yes - the days are filled with its ups and downs. I always send a smile - I may not "feel" like smiling - but I try. These are good words you wrote.
