I just made an observation....When Ed plays the opening to Immortality, they cut to a shot of a guy with long blonde hair, who sort of reminds me Kurt Cobain in appearance. Does anyone else see this? I know Ed has denied that Immortality is about Kurt and what not, but is this a coincidence or what?

    i think its a coincidence,btw,the intro of immortality in this version is amazing

    It might not be about Kurt Cobain, but Immortality has references to Kurt Cobain's suicide - "cigar box on the floor." Similar the line in Last Exit that says "3 days maybe longer."

    It all has to do with interpretation, I remember when Filter came out with "Hey man nice shot" the lyrics make you think it's about Kurt, though Filter denies it. Or it could be said that the song is about a dog (like 'Mandy', or 'Used to Love Her') hahahahahha!

    The reason so many people think those songs are about kurt is the time they came out too... vitalogy in 1995 written around kurts death.

    Immagine is awesome! i watched it the other day for the 1st time in a year and i really liked it.

    It's been discussed to death but I've always thought and I always will think that Kurt's death hangs heavy on Immortality and Last Exit. Too many significant lyrics not to be for me. I love the intro to it on the dvd and the many boots it appears on. I think Berlin 2006 was a good one or maybe 2000, can't remember off hand. Anyway there's not much to be said other than coincidence about the blonde but I'll keep a look out for it next time. :) It's such a great dvd and if I wasn't going to bed in a minute I'd watch it now!

    They were playing immortality before Kurts death although w/ different lyrics. In fact both Boston shows have different lyrics I think.
