Ok...Im looking for a good girlie drink for the summer (No offense ladies)
I get sick of drinking beer in the summer I need something else to drink when Im out
I could use some good advice as far as :
1) The name of the drink
2) Whats in the drink
I had Vodka and Cranberry over the weekend but I want something else !
1 water glass filled with two liquors.
1/2 a glass of "jack daniels."
1/2 a glass of "dos gusanos mezcal."
drink as many as you can while using beer or butter-shots schnapps (on ice) as your chaser.
do plenty of bong hits.
afterwards, sleep on the stairs or lawn with a garden hose spraying yourself down.
(keeping your ass cool when the hot months of summer are upon you when smashed.)
My vote would be for a margarita on the rocks, no salt or
a mojito
or midori and malibu (not sure what it's called, but I love coconut and it's damn yummy).

Tastes like a cream soda. And it's clear, so if you're worried about it sounding too girly, you can lie to your friends and tell them you're drinking gin and tonic.
My husband and I have been experimenting with various summer cocktails - our favorites so far:
Southside - 1 sprig of mint muddled in the bottom of a glass with 3/4 ounces of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Add 1 1/2 ounces gin, 1 ounce simple syrup to cocktail shaker, shake it up, pour it in the glass over crushed ice, add 1 1/2 ounces club soda. Add 1 sprig of mint to look fancy.
It's like a gin mojito. Very very good.
The Pimm's Cup Fresh Lemonade is very good too. I didn't know what Pimm's was - it's a gin based aperitif. Go figure.

it's just the greatest cocktail known to man... it has lime, brown sugar... which makes me dance so good... white rum... mint leaves so you can put that towards your 5 a day vegetable intake... ice and soda water.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
We have an herb and veggie garden that produced so much we didn't know what to do with it all so I started making drinks with the extras. So far we've had a lemon basil martini which is 5-6 muddled lemon basil martinis, citrus vodka, and ice. Strain the basil and float another leaf on top. That one was ok, but our favorite so far is the dill and cucumber G & T. Get some good gin like bombay sapphire or better, muddle 3-4 sprigs of dill in the bottom of a cup, drop in 3-4 long cucumber "sticks", fill cup with ice. Pour in a shot or two of the gin (to taste) then fill the rest of the cup with tonic. We've also included strawberry's and blackberries in the recipe. It's awesome and you can walk around the neighborhood drinking it and people don't give you a second look.
Red Headed Slut:
1 oz peach schnapps
1 oz Jagermeister®
cranberry juice
Chill and serve.
or;
Kansas City Ice Water:
1 shot gin (preferred Bombay)
1 shot vodka
1 shot (or more) FRESH SQUEEZED lemon juice
Add ice and 7up
recipes here are for cocktails; but ive only had shots...i'd make the cocktail and pour a round of shots out of it...

add pine apple juice and cranberry juice

Also a Sweet tea collins is good.
2 oz gin.
1 oz. lemon juice
3 oz. sweet tea
1 oz sugar
Frozen Lemonade/Limeades are good as well.
Take some Limeade/Lemonade and mix it in a blender with ice and vodka.
don't bother with a shot glass, just find the mixture that works for you.
