Helen Thomas, 89 year old WH Correspondent, finally shows her true colors in this video where she tells Jews to "Get the hell out of Palestine" and "Go back to Poland and Germany."

Not only is she a Anti-Semitic bigot, she is historically misinformed. Someone should point out that Jews have been living there just a little longer than since WWII.

    My thoughts are that she retired immediately effective today (Monday). Another one who stayed around too long and will have her legacy tarnished with what forced her out.
    The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

    Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

    It's not what "America" is about, in my mind. We're here for a better future and we should live with tolerence in our hearts. It's not illegal what she said but it is very offensive to me. I'm glad she retired. Probably did so before she got cut loose. She did so much and was such an inspiration for so many people. Tragic that she did this at this point in time. Now we know what she'll be remembered for. A tarnished legacy.

    Yeah, who here has ever chipped in for an officemate's birthday gift or shared their cake. Does that prove you share every one of that person's views?

    The press corp are not the President's office mates technically but it's an analogy, not a perfect one. :)

    There's a lot of historical misinformation going on in politics these days. Arizona's Jan Brewer said her dad died fighting the Nazis, when in fact he died 10 years after WWII ended. He didn't even "fight" the Nazis, per se - during WWII he worked as a supervisor in a munitions in Nevada.
    And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.
