Two sides

Upon lengthy examination, one may discover
that multiple desires are in conflict
I want this AND
I want that
it fits, yet
both things together aren't possible
in fact, perhaps the two desires are supposed to extinguish each other?
(one can't do this, if one does that!)
backwards, forwards, turning 'round
looking up and looking down
oh, what's to do,
what to do,
tell me which end is the front in my wobb-ly canoe?!

I really like this one - and it makes me laugh too. Usually you can tell the front of a canoe by the way the "seats" are facing. :D who knows - just get in a paddle away

No compass, no guide, no direction... To constantly want, to fill a void is no way to live yet we know no other way. Nothing is good enough, fullfilling enough, smart enough, pretty enough, free enough..... The greatness of this world/life is fading.

    Excellent read!!! Thanks for posting.
