Pearl Jam Brisbane 25/11/2009 Comments

I can't deny that Pearl Jam put on a fantastic concert for Brisbane which made it so much more memorable because it was my first PJ concert. A while after the show, I bought the bootleg to relive the night and it only made me want to see them even more! I was surprised that Better Man wasn't played though. That being said, I wasn't even thinking about that during the concert so I can't be critical. All in all, it was a great night.
The best songs from the night in my opinion were Elderly Woman, In Hiding, Off He Goes, Rats, Unthought Known, Blood and Alive. But the whole show was good.
I'd love to hear anyone elses thoughts!

I like all the 2009 Oz/NZ shows, but Brisbane is my favorite...Never heard AC/DC sound so good
If I had to pick just 2 shows from the ´09 tour it would be Brisbane and Chicago night 2...
Dream the dreams of others then,... You will be no ones rival,...
that would still be so vivid in my thoughts 1yr later.
I have been to EVERY Brisbane concert since 1995 & they have all been great(To me anyway)
I used to drive 1000 miles in those early years, it was a pleasure & so exiting to go on a road trip
knowing that at the end you would get to see Pearl Jam.
Now I live in Brisbane & only had to travel about 15km to the gig & nearly missed the start
because of a dickhead bus driver not even from here was driving the free bus from Town.
I don't know if it's because it was the first time I've seen them at an outdoor gig or not
but it was just Amazing. The BEST they have ever been. Such Passion. Unbelievable.
Highlights for me: In my tree, Off He Goes, If you want blood. I was waiting to hear Just Breathe
Then after the encore break they played The End(Only in Brisbane) & then strait into Just Breathe
I had a lump in my throat & a feeling of Absolute Awe.
Beforehand they had played Unthoughtful Known witch near bought a tear to my eye.
That song is so deep.
So THANK YOU Pearl Jam, you have been the best part of my life.
You Will Be No one's Rival to me for Eternity.
Please release a DVD or Blu-ray of the most Satisfyingly Enlightening musical experience of my life.
Off to play the Bootleg again & pretend I'm still there.
Cheers.
Bravo! Pearl Jam, Grazie per vita.
