I am starting this thread to get PJ to play the gulf coast. With the oil spill the gulf coast region is reeling in more ways then we can count, but one major way is lack of tourism. Peoples lives on the coast depend on tourism and with people scared off by the spill these fellow americans are hurting. My thought is if the greatest band in the world played a gulf coast tour their tremendous fans would follow bringing much needed finacial help to the region. Just a thought.
are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?

can't escape from the common rule if you hate something, don't you do it too

They haven't played there since 1994. They need some loving NOW!!! When I heard Pensecola Beach, I so remembered I bought an unofficial bootleg way back of this place. The show wasn't complete on this CD, but it was an amazing performance. The very first time Pearl Jam covered Won't Back Down live! :)

Great idea! It would be a 10 hour drive for me but I would definately go, not only to see my favorite band but knowing that it would be helping others during this difficult time would an added benefit. :)
