can't seem to get out of there fast enough
yet she's not moving at all

looking down at her feet
she realizes they are encased in cement
she is yoked to the car and her past

pulling frantically to free herself
ripping her flesh from bone to be free
looking up she sees a light

before her appears
the sun, the moon, the stars
flowing, light, freeing, loving, forgiving
