Islands doing just fine

My needle just moved a little more towards Global warming being BS. Well maybe not BS but showing that the earth will adjust by itself. Without our influence.

  • I always thought it was the height of human arrogance to suggest we're capable of single-handedly destroying the planet. The Earth was designed to ably heal itself.

    climate change IS the earth adjusting itself ... so, when we have more extreme weather - that is the result of the earth compensating for artificial temperature changes ... an island adapting to rising sea levels are indeed another example ...

    but many of these consequences will/have resulted in death and suffering of people as well as the extinction of many species ...

    and to me - the height of human arrogance is the belief that there are no consequences to our actions
